Seriously!

     This is my motto this summer.   I had a great day today- starting with an intense workout at the exercise bootcamp I have been attending for a number of months now, followed by coffee with family and then a crafting marathon with some lovely little ladies I know.  The girls range in age from 1st to 8th grade- they always amaze me with their creativity and talent.  I get them started with a technique or a tool and they conjure up the most incredible things.  Blows me away every time.  They really are a great example of how to "enjoy life". Seriously!

Hope that you will find time this summer for some crafty goodness and serious enjoyment :).

A simple Thank You

Where has this year gone?!  It seems to have flown by & I haven't quite caught up yet. This summer I'm enjoying more relaxed days with my son and time spent in our beautiful backyard.  The weather is still very pleasant but I know the hot days are right around the corner....

I made this card for very cherished friend- she is so good to me, and to so many others in her life.  I'm so thankful to know  her and I want to be just like her when I grow up.  I hope you have someone special like my chica in your life too :).

More Fun with Pattern Paper Play

         Still having fun with the Pattern Paper Play Class I'm taking with OnLineCardClasses.  It's quite challenging to not only put different pattern paper together successfully, but also come with new card ideas.  Hope that you find something to challenge you in a crafty way too :).

Hello Card

          It's been WAYYY too long since I've visited my lonely little blog.  Life has been quite busy.  I'm recovering from jaw surgery (the kind with a hospital stay and liquid diet only for many weeks!).  Trying to get my mojo going again by taking the Pattern Play Class from OnLineCardClasses.  It's really inspiring and fun to create some cards using lots of patterned paper.  Hope you are inspired to do something crafty too :).

It's that time of year to celebrate all that's dark and spooky...a very fun night in my opinion.  Not only can you get your inner witch on, but get candy for doing it!  Can't beat that.  I made some cards for some friends and family using lots of K&Co.  Just the right amount of sparkle, I think, in a creepy sort of way.

Hope you have a safe and happy Halloween with just the right amount of sweet and scary :).

WCMD

   Here's my one and only card for World Card Making Day- made it using my Paper Smooches stamp set :).  Hope everyone had a great WCMD like I did ! I spent it making crafts galore and got my mojo going.....

For a Friend

I made this card for the one of the lovely employees at my favorite scrapbooking store: Scrapbook Island.  You need anything, and this store has it! And the staff there is just incredible.  Really.  Check it out when you are in the Silicon Valley.  You won't be sorry :).

I do have to be sorry for the long absence between posts....you know how summertime gets so busy.  Hope you have been enjoying lazy days, warm weather and all that goes with this season :).
